Melissa Horwarth Goetz is a self-employed ASHA certified speech language pathologist in Cincinnati, Ohio.  She holds a graduate degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Cincinnati.  Melissa provides treatment to a diverse population with regard to age and communication impairments including apraxia of speech, asphasia, child-language disorders, articulation disorders, dysphagia, and stuttering. She is a certified provider of SpeechEasy devices, which are fluency enhancing devices for individuals who stutter.  She has received specialized training in the area of apraxia of speech including the Kaufman Speech Praxis Treatment Technique for Childhood Apraxia of Speech.  She has developed a passion for working with individuals diagnosed with apraxia of speech.

April began practicing yoga at the age of 45.  She has studied Iyengar & Hatha yoga for the past 14 years, beginning her journey in Chicago and returning to Cincinnati 10 years ago.  She has recently become a certified teacher of Kripalu yoga.  April has worked in the health field for the past 35 years as an LPN, specializing in geriatric care, and more recently has become certified as a holistic nutrition lifestyle coach.  She intendeds to promote health and wellness for seniors through the practice of Chair Yoga.  "I'm hoping to show the elders that seated yoga movement with breath work and meditation can reverse the aging process.  You're never too old to start your practice."  All classes are wheelchair accessible.
